It's been so long We’ve been marching Going on for what seems like years Well maybe it is The atmosphere Hasn't been clear Since Its been a while We've been holding smiles Going on for years It might be the atmosphere But I'm still close To tears Since You and I had to depart Just left to discard We had to run away Separate Or get the plague If we stayed We would have been Infected And would’ve changed At least one of us will stay Contained It was never Going To be me I'm too open Ready For new things Sure you’re more guarded Sure you’re less free But you still felt something So did I It wasn't a mistake No way

But theres something holding me back and I can't deal with that pain again so I left my worst decision I still can't believe this new found pain as I see her in your arms again Did you do this on purpose Or was this to forget? What colorful masks we wear What saddening stories we share What masquerade we play What complex attire we design ourselves to wear everyday What intricate housing we have built around us And only inside can you find What we all have stored to confess What thick weeds grow in the garden That we have left with woe to pardon Yet seemingly they never shrivel and die Oh no! They are hauntingly alive Causing cracks in the foundation before ripping it open in frustration As the music and dancing all seem to cease As everyone succumbs to their inner beasts

Every day is a constant battle with my mind With school and chores and work and responsibilities Weighing down heavily And sometimes I wake in the morning and I'm not even breathing I cannot do what my mind longs for I cannot write or read I cannot have any joy I wonder sometimes if people understand the stress The pain I carry Of a heavy heart and mind never at rest I just want to stop And do what I was meant to do Not do these foolish tasks That consume MY life I am done with work I am done with school I am done with responsibilities All I want to do is write Write for the rest of my life

Everything fades All goes black Like layers of shades Your tied up and pushed back The further and further you go The harder it is to resurface The colder and colder it gets The quicker you feel the submergence The light is nowhere to be found Alone, not a word Not even a single sound Nothing happens, nothing is heard The deep oblivion, dark abyss The dreams you never forget This is the oasis, this is the bliss Unless the darkness controls it Sadly this is the category for me My minds own defiance I don't get to touch the clouds or swim in the deep sea For all I hear Is everlasting silence
